I'm so glad you're here.
I'm a family, newborn, maternity, and wedding photographer based in Christchurch, and I spend my days documenting the seasons of life that feel ordinary as they happen—but become everything later on.
I'm also a mum of three, so I understand how full and fast family life can feel. The everyday chaos, the quiet in-between moments, and how quickly the days start to blur together when you're right in the middle of them. It's also why I value photographs so deeply—they become a way of slowing it all down and holding onto what matters most.
The way people naturally reach for each other. The quiet comfort between two people who know each other deeply. The laughter, the chaos, the tenderness in between.
But more than anything, I want people to see their families the way their loved ones already do.
So often, we’re the ones holding the camera. Capturing everyone else. Saving the moments. Being the one who remembers.
And years later, those are often the photographs that matter most—the ones where you’re all together.
Not because everything looks perfect, but because it simply exists.
My sessions are calm, gently guided, and unhurried.
There’s no pressure to perform, no expectation to “get it right,” and nothing you need to prepare for beyond simply turning up as you are.
Sessions can feel a little chaotic at times, that’s just part of photographing real families, especially with little ones. We follow it as it comes, slow things down when needed, and move with the moment.
I’ll guide you when needed, and step back when I don’t.
Most people tell me afterwards they were surprised by how relaxed it felt. That it didn’t feel like a photoshoot in the way they expected—but more like time spent together, with a bit of gentle direction along the way.
And that’s always the goal.
Because the best photographs don’t come from perfect posing.
They come from presence.
I notice the small things.
The way your children look at you when they think no one is watching.
The way you soften when you're fully with them.
The in-between moments that don't feel significant at the time—but end up meaning everything later.
These are the things I'm always watching for.
Not perfection.
Not performance.
Just connection.
One of the greatest privileges of my job is watching families grow over time.
I’ve photographed couples on their wedding day, then again during pregnancy, then newborn sessions, then family sessions as their children grow.
Those long-term relationships mean everything to me.
There’s something incredibly special about being invited back into a family’s life again and again, across different seasons, and being trusted to continue telling their story as it unfolds.
Life changes quietly.
You don’t always notice it happening until you look back.
The tiny hands grow.
The routines shift.
The seasons move on.
And the photographs become the way you hold onto it all.
Not just how it looked, but how it felt to be living it.
